We’ve got some big news for you Disney and Pixar fans, especially if you loved the short film Bao.
The director of that short, Domee Shi, has a new Disney and Pixar feature-length film coming out, and today, we got a brand new trailer!
The first teaser for Turning Red was released earlier this year, but this new trailer reveals a lot more of the story, which follows 13-year-old Mei who discovers that she turns into a giant red panda every time she gets excited — which is a lot!
The story is set in the early 2000s, so of course, Pixar created a new boy band, 4*Town, that Mei and her friends adore. And the movie will feature three original songs for that band written by Grammy-winning singer-songwriters Billie Eilish and FINNEAS. And yes, that is NSYNC “It’s Gonna’ Be Me” you hear in the trailer, too. Disney and Pixar also dropped a new poster for the movie.
Turning Red releases on March 11th, 2022. And stick around because we’ll keep covering EVERY new Disney movie and TV show release.
