At any given time, there’s probably a construction project going on around Disney World.

Here at AllEars, we keep you posted on all those closures! So today, we’re bringing you a refurbishment update on all the attractions that will be unavailable from June 21st-27th, 2021.
Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for over 2 years to make way for construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run. That project is currently blocking the train’s tracks!

TRON construction is reportedly delayed, though, which means it could be a while before the Railroad reopens. Of course, we’ll keep an eye out for any updates!

The Hall of Presidents
Meanwhile, the Hall of Presidents is undergoing a more routine refurbishment. It closes each time a new president is elected to install a new animatronic — and right now, they’re adding President Joe Biden’s!

Again, Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date yet, but we’ll keep you posted on any news.

Main Street Confectionery
Our last stop in Magic Kingdom is Main Street Confectionery, which is seeing a major construction project. We’re expecting this shop to be closed for a pretty long time — but you can get all the candy you want at Main Street Cinema in the meantime.

We’ll also let you know once Disney announces a reopening date!

Disney World Resort Refurbishments
Now we’re heading over to some hotels! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is in the middle of a big reimagining that includes changes to the entryway, lobby, and monorail station. Meanwhile, the guest rooms are getting a Moana-inspired transformation! You can book those for stays beginning next month.

Lastly, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Main Tower Guest Rooms are being refurbished. And while you’ll definitely notice the construction on your trip, the rest of the hotel is unaffected by the work!

You will want to note, though, that The Wave restaurant is closing for a long refurb in July.

Railroad 3RD YEAR ? It could have ran the whole time. Forward, then Backward but wouldn’t have saved all the money they have.
