Recently, Disney has announced more hotels and shops that will reopen in Disney World, and they’ve even posted job listings for new Cast Members. Plus, with new CDC guidelines concerning masks and a plan for relaxing mask and distancing requirements in Orange County, Florida, it seems that vacationers are feeling more comfortable returning to travel. But, there is one part of the tourism industry that may take longer to rebound than others.

According to Spectrum News, executives from Visit Orlando believe that international travel numbers may not rebound to pre-pandemic numbers until 2023. In contrast, they are expecting domestic travel numbers for 2021 to exceed the pre-pandemic numbers.
