PHOTOS: Check Out the NEW Secret Life of Pets Ride in Universal Hollywood!

Universal Hollywood has officially reopened after over a year of being closed due to the ongoing health crisis.

We’ve been having a blast being back inside the park — eating all the food, riding some of our favorite attractions, and taking in all the excitement. And, in addition to reuniting with the attractions we know and love, there’s a brand new ride that just opened with the park!

The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash attraction has officially opened! The ride had been doing some testing during the ticketed event, Taste of Universal, but now all park guests can find out what it’s really like to be man’s best friend.

The apartment building looks like the one from the movies!

While you make your way through the line, you’ll get to visit many of the pets’ apartments. And, if you’ve seen the movies, you’re sure to recognize them!

Set inside of the pet’s apartments!

It’ll feel like you’re climbing up the entire apartment building as you go from room…

We want to live in some of these kids rooms

…to room…

But…where are all the dogs?

…and, you might even stumble upon some of the pets keeping busy while their owners are away!

Plus, you’ll even get to interact with the pets you find because they actually MOVE (and talk)! You’ll find Buddy in his normal spot getting in his back scratches…

And, when you get to the loading area, you’ll be transformed (theoretically) into a puppy, where you’ll board your cardboard box…

Pile into your cardboard box and get on your way to the adoption event!

…and set off on your journey through the streets of New York City to the adoption event!

Of course, it’s not a simple journey — you’ll stumble upon quite a few obstacles on your way to the Adoption Day event.

Off to the streets of New York you go!

So many obstacles that you’ll actually end up needing a visit to the groomer! Don’t worry though, the grown-up pets have you covered.

Enjoy your stay at the puppy spa!

And, in the end, all the puppies (aka you) will be off to their furr-ever home.

In the end, you get to go home with a new family (well, not really)

Is it just us or is becoming a puppy a dream come true? The ride is now open for all park guests, just keep in mind that theme park capacity is limited and you’ll need to have purchased a valid park ticket to visit.
