We’ve truly seen it all when it comes to Baby Yoda merchandise at Disney World. Or so we thought…
From Baby Yoda tiki mugs and shoulder plushes to macarons and headbands, The Mandalorian’s breakout star has become a certified Disney icon! But this latest piece of merch we found in Disney World has us thinking that maybe things have gone a little too far?
Ever since The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+, and promptly took over the world, Baby Yoda has become about as famous as Mickey Mouse, with the boatloads of Disney merch to show for it!
Both in the parks and online, it seems there’s an endless stream of swag and souvenirs representing The Child, but then along comes the weirdest Baby Yoda item ever: a hat with arms.
His face is so cute that you almost don’t notice the arms. But when you do, they seem kinda…creepy? In the case of this hat, they kinda look like turquoise tentacles.
We get it. The concept of the hat is well-intentioned and fun. It’s like you’re holding hands with Baby Yoda as you wear it! And when you squeeze his hands, the ears even move! Cool, right?!
The top part of the hat is classic Baby Yoda cuteness, and if we could just stare into those precious eyes all day, we’d be fine, but those arms…dangling like pool noodles…we just don’t know.
If you’re on board with this whole “hats with limbs” thing, then you can snag one of these at Star Wars Galactic Outpost in Disney Springs, where the new arrivals cost $34.99 per hat!
