Disney Imagineers are the creators, designers, and builders that work on all the new rides, experiences, and basically everything else you come across in the parks. Walt originally coined the term and it has stuck around ever since! Recently, we noticed that the President of Walt Disney Imagineering had gotten a new job description, and it looks like another Disney leader is getting an updated title.

According to Barbara Bouza’s LinkedIn profile, she is now the President of Business Management, Design & Development for Disney Imagineering. She originally joined the team less than a year ago as President of Business Operations Design & Delivery.

Unlike Bob Weis’s update to his LinkedIn profile, Bouza did not list a description of what her new role will entail. In her previous role, she oversaw the “daily operations, development, and project delivery” for the Disney parks, hotels, cruise ships, dining, retail, and entertainment venues but Disney has not updated their website to reflect the change in her title yet.

This is the second change-up we’ve seen in Walt Disney Imagineering senior leadership, so what could this mean for the department overall? Disney hasn’t commented on anything yet, but we will be sure to keep you updated with the latest information!
