Each year, the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress gives awards to songs and audio recordings that are “worthy of preservation for all time based on their cultural, historical or aesthetic importance in the nation’s recorded sound heritage.” This year, “The Rainbow Connection” sung by Kermit the Frog is being added to that list!
