Although we’ve seen many changes happening in Disney theme parks, travel has started to operate with new health and safety restrictions as well.

Although the airports have been a little quieter recently, more flights are starting to be offered domestically for travelers.

Hawaiian Airlines will be offering non-stop flights from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL). Hawaiian Airlines will be offering two weekly flights between the airports starting March 11th, 2021, which will make Orlando the only Florida airport to offer direct flights to the island.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, Phil Brown, “We are pleased to announce that Central Florida residents can look forward to nonstop service to Hawaii, and that Orlando International Airport is officially Florida’s connection to the Aloha State. This new service represents a significant investment that will strengthen economic, leisure and cultural bonds between two of the country’s top tourism destinations.”
