While we’ve been rewatching Hamilton most of July, we’re REALLY looking forward to all the new content coming to Disney+ in August!

Although the new Phineas and Ferb movie already looks like a hit to us, two new movies are in production that sound AMAZING (and we can’t wait to watch them)!
According to Variety, Disney will be making two new movies based on the “Miraculous” franchise. Disney already has an agreement with the producers ZAG and ON Kids & Family to show the first three seasons of “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir” on Disney Channel and Disney+ (with seasons 4 and 5 coming to the streaming service soon).

The two new 3D CGI animated TV films Miraculous World: New York – United HeroeZ and Miraculous World: Shanghai – Lady Dragon will be directed by Thomas Astruc, who created the series.

The movies will take the teens who magically transform into superheroes outside their regular crime-fighting stomping grounds in Paris to New York and Shanghai this time around instead. The founder and CEO of ZAG Jeremy Zag has stated that Ladybug and Cat Noir will “meet new superheroes as they take on treacherous villains far away from their home city of Paris.”

We cannot WAIT to see what adventures Ladybug and Cat Noir will be going on in New York and Shanghai! We’ll keep you updated with more news about the upcoming films!

Super excited for this! Do you know when in the storyline the movies will be taking place? Do they leave off right after season 3 or are they just extra side stories. Also would like to know the same for the Awakening musical film that is allegedly going to come out in 2021.
