We’re live at the first day of Passholder previews at Universal Orlando sharing everything you need to know about rides, dining, safety protocols, and more.

And now, we’ve witnessed Universal’s plan for guests to have locations within the parks to safely remove their masks: URest Areas.
In these locations, guests are permitted to remove their masks and relax.

There are no distancing markers in the stations we’ve visited so far, so guests are encouraged to practice distancing on their own.

Universal has two of these locations in each park:
In Universal Studios:
- At the Central Park Lagoon area
- Near Fear Factor
In Islands of Adventure:
- At the Port of Entry Landing
- At The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show
We visited the location at Sinbad Stunt Show for an idea of what to expect:

How do you feel about these mask-free resting spots? Let us know in the comments.
