‘Tis the season for some early Rises, and late nights at Hollywood Studios! Ever since the opening of Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we have gone on a roller coaster of park hour changes.
While (currently) the early hours are only set to last for the short term future, it looks like the extended evening Extra Magic Hours will be lasting for even longer!
According to Disney World’s website, evening Extra Magic Hours hours at Hollywood Studios are lasting through at least August. That means that on Sunday nights, guests at the Disney World resort will be able to enjoy some extra magic at Hollywood Studios from 9 PM to 11 PM.
As things currently stand, Rise of the Resistance is not available during Extra Magic Hours, so we’ll keep you updated if or when that changes in the future. However, those EMH will give guests the chance to ride some ol’ favorites like Tower of Terror, or (hopefully) new favorites like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

Why even build The Rise of the Resistance if Disney is so restrictive about riding it? I’m not going to get up at the crack of dawn to be in the park at opening for a possibility to ride it. And now it’s not available during EMH? What are we all paying for when we buy park tickets?
