Today, Spikes entered a no contest plea, and was sentenced to 10 years probation, 250 hours of community service and restitution.

The affected attractions were the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom, and Cranium Command at Epcot‘s former Wonders of Life Pavilion. Spikes and his accomplice, cousin Blaytin Taunton, allegedly stole costumes, wigs, and props from both attractions, including Buzzy, the animatronic star of Cranium Command.

Both Spikes and Taunton have been sentenced to probation and banned from all Disney property. In addition, they have been ordered to pay restitution to Disney, as well as the individuals to whom they sold the stolen items.
