It’s the happiest time of year at the Happiest Place on Earth, and the happiest cruise that ever sailed is getting its festive holiday makeover!
And this year, ‘it’s a small world’ is getting multi-sensory… even more so than usual. Riders will get a whiff of some festive new holiday scents! While the attraction has long featured the scent of pine trees and peppermint for its European scenes, Disney has added three more international aromas to this classic ride.
In South America, guests can inhale the scent of cinnamon, a staple of holiday treats across the continent. As the boat sails through the South Seas, guests will get a chance to consider the coconut as its tropical aroma wafts over the boat. Finally, the attraction’s Asia scene is home to the romantic smell of cherry blossoms.
These new aromas will only linger for the duration of Disneyland’s holiday celebrations, so be sure to catch them before they drift away.
