The bottles, designed to look like thermal detonators from the Star Wars films, were banned since they look like real weapons and explosives.

Due to the similarity and chance this could lead to confusion at check points the bottles were banned.

Now, the bottles will be treated as over-sized liquids. If you want to take one of the bottles home with you full you must put it in your checked bag since it it is over the three ounce limit for liquids in carry ons. If you empty your bottle you can carry it on with you.

  1. Imposed FEAR! Those who’ve handled live(or even ‘dummy’s grenades know there’s a “spoon” on the top of the ‘grenade’. Plus there’s also the pin, which is a ring that keeps the spoon in place. A little education goes a long way. I see the 3 oz. rule and would still check the little boogers.
