Should You Do Brunch in Disney World?

Nothing says “leisurely, relaxed morning” like brunch. And what better time to indulge in this activity than when you’re on vacation? We picked eight locations in Disney World that offer this decadent meal. And the best part — you don’t need a park ticket to enjoy any of these!

We’ll start this exploration out in Disney Springs.

This southern-inspired brunch menu includes Drop Biscuits, Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes, Hush Puppy Benedict, French Toast, Short Rib Hash, and Fried Chicken & Doughnuts. Sides include Grits, Pecan-Smoked Bacon, and Potato Gratin Mash.  There’s a new twist on the Bloody Mary here with the Garden Mary made with Charleston veggie mix, Stoli cucumber vodka, muddled with fresh limes and cucumbers garnished with celery, peppered cucumber ribbon, heirloom tomato and banana pepper.

The House of Blues

House of Blues Gospel Brunch is offered every Sunday.  The price includes a Gospel performance, all you can eat southern style buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, tax and tip. Showtimes: are at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The buffet features a Made to Order Omelet Station, Buttermilk Biscuits with Country Gravy, Chicken and Waffles, a Carving Station featuring Honey Baked Ham & Whole Roast Top Round of Beef,  Smoked Catfish Board, Fried or Marinated Chicken, Chicken Jambalaya, and so much more!

Enjoy your leisurely brunch aboard a paddleboat! Try Crab & Asparagus Benedict, Corned Beef Hash, Steak & Eggs, Omelet, or a Monte Cristo here. We can’t resist giving a special mention to The King Meets the Captain. This is a peanut butter and banana-stuffed French toast crusted with breakfast cereal and topped with fresh berry compote — talk about a meal fit for a king of rock and roll!

Your brunch is served with Irish flair here! Start out with an Irish Egg, Chunky Monk, Dalkey Duo and more as your options for starters. Move on to either the Spacial Sunday Roast, or your choice of entree including Salmon Prone to Waffling, Eggs en Cocotte, Full Irish Breakfast , or Bangin’ Bangers & Mighty Mash to name a very few.

We’ll just start out with this — a bag of stuffed donuts. Do we need to tell you any more? OK, we will! Cinnamon Monkey Bread, Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail, Caesar Salads, and more start out the brunch. Then you move on to Filets, Sirloins, Crab Cakes, and Fried Chicken & Funnel Cake as just some of your entree choices.  A wide array of specialty cocktails are also available during this special brunch.

Disney Springs’ newest brunch spot is Wine Bar George.  You will find French Toast, Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Steak Eggs and Frites, Eggs Benedict, Burrata, and a Wine Country Omelet on the new brunch menu. These items are in addition to items regularly found on the menu, including selected starters, and cheese and charcuterie boards. And that’s not all — when visiting be sure to try out the brand new Dole Whip Mimosa made with a blend of Moscato, Dole Pineapple soft serve, and Proscecco!

Enjoy brunch with a view of Seven Seas Lagoon and maybe even Cinderella Castle for this appropriately named “Brunch at the Top”. A very broad menu is offered for brunch starting with charcuterie, salads, or sushi. Main dishes include Chicken and Waffles, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, a Grilled Steak, and Omelet stations. And dessert — well, take a look at the photo below of mini desserts, truffles, and macarons. Yum!

Brunch starts early here! Join in on Saturday or Sunday from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. This buffet-style meal features Mickey Waffles, Cheese Grits, Vegetable Frittata, Sausage and Bacon, Hash Brown Potatoes, Pulled Pork Benedict, Assorted Melons, Strawberries, and Citrus Yogurt Smoked Salmon Assorted Pastries. And those are just the breakfast offerings! For lunch you’ll find Pasta, Mixed Vegetables, Fried Chicken, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy Shrimp Assorted Salads Chili. Plus an assortment of desserts!

Bonus: We just learned that Olivia’s at Old Key West is now serving up a special weekend brunch menu!

On Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Olivia’s serves up some of its weekday breakfast specials (Banana Bread French Toast, Sombrero Beach Omelet, Crabcake Eggs Benedict) alongside lunch entrees like Steak with Pommes Frites, Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken and Mallory Square Cobb Salad. This offering is so new, we haven’t had the chance to try it ourselves yet, but if you have, let us know in the comments below!
