Walt Disney World held a press event December 5-7 with media invited from around the world. The biggest reveal was the New Fantasyland Expansion which has been in soft opening since October. December 6 at 10 am was the official Grand Opening Celebration at the Cinderella Castle forefront. Also on December 6, Test Track by Chevrolet officially opened. On December 7 there was a media preview of Downtown Disney's Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
