Everything you need to know about new Happily Ever After fireworks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Posted onOn May 11, Walt Disney World bids farewell to its long-running Wishes fireworks show. On May 12, it ushers in its new nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After. The Disney Parks Blog will be live-streaming the debut, so even if you can't be at the Magic Kingdom on Friday, you can see Happily Ever After. Tune in at 8:55 p.m. ET. In the meantime, here are answers to some of the most common questions about the new show.
Registration Now Open for Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend
Posted onEarly registration for the 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend opened Tuesday, September 13. General registration opens on Tuesday, September 20 at noon Eastern time. The event will again be held on Mother's Day weekend, May 11-14, 2017. Races include the Never Land 5K, Tinker Bell 10K, Tinker Bell Half Marathon, and Kids races. The Pixie Dust Challenge is available for those running both the 10K and half marathon.

Disney Dollars discontinued at Walt Disney World and Disneyland
Posted onThe Orange County Register confirmed Thursday that Disney Dollars will no longer be sold at Walt Disney World or Disneyland after today, May 13. The California newspaper cited a statement from a Disneyland spokesperson, although The Walt Disney Co. did not make an official announcement. There is no expiration date on Disney Dollars, so bills that already have been purchased still can be used.
NOTE: A cast member at Guest Relations at Disney Springs said that location will still sell Disney Dollars on Saturday, if they still have some.

Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival returns on Wednesday for its 23rd year, and we can't wait!
