Registration Now Open for Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend

Early registration for the 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend opened Tuesday, September 13. General registration opens on Tuesday, September 20 at noon Eastern time. The event will again be held on Mother's Day weekend, May 11-14, 2017. Races include the Never Land 5K, Tinker Bell 10K, Tinker Bell Half Marathon, and Kids races. The Pixie Dust Challenge is available for those running both the 10K and half marathon.

Southern California Man Moves From Cheering Section to Winners Circle Sunday at the Disneyland Half Marathon

James Lander from Fullerton, Calif., won the 10th annual Disneyland Half Marathon this past weekend. Momoko Tanaka, 29, from Urayasu-shi, Japan, took first place in the women's division, finishing in 1:21:30. This is the first time in the race's 10-year history that an international runner has won. More than 29,000 runners participated in the weekend's events.
