My family had a really good time. We used the free check in day and it all went really well. My kids were impressed with how nice it was. They usually think water parks are trashy but were impressed with Typhoon. The wave pool is made for teenagers. We only waited in line for a slide 2 times and it was under 10 minutes each time. CMs were wonderful as always.
Pros:
Very clean, well laid out. Geared toward teens, but all ages were having fun.Cons:
The concrete is pretty rough on your feet so have water shoes or even flip flops. We were able to leave our sandals at the entrances of the queue and grab them after exiting the ride.Review of All Star Sports Resort (Value Resort)

Pleasantly surprised! Stayed here for one night. We used the room just to sleep in. Spent all of our time at the water park, mini golf and Disney Springs. I have stayed in all the values except Movies and this place was pretty much the same as all the others. Not sure why it gets such a bad wrap. If you are not spending any time in your room then this is a great way to spend money.

Excellent value for the money. Comfortable beds, easy access to the food court for breakfast, beignets are excellent, compact size makes it easy to access the amenities and the bus stop

If you like any kind of middle eastern style food, curries and such you need to try tusker house, yes it’s African but Indian or middle eastern is the closest thing I’ve ever had close to this!! If your not adventurous I think this is still a safe option as they have plenty to choose from and nothing is too extreme. The characters all came around once and it was cute to see them in their safari outfits. It’s been a while since we ate there but I remember we loved the food and the experience. We were on the dining plan so I don’t know if the cost is a good value.

Stayed I. A studio 6/9-6/16….small room, toilet are with shower is tight. 1 sink and no privacv curtain/door.
Caribbean resort is cheaper bigger room and privacy. Only con is Caribbean no private balcony, boardwalk yes.
We also did not have water one afternoon. No one knew why. Come to find out d out there was maintenance being done…no notfication to guests…AND staff knew nothing about. Complained to deaf ears.

My wife and I had Dinner on 6/26/25. I had the All you can eat Sampler platter; my wife had the Salad with grilled chicken and French onion soup. Let me start by saying we are Annual Passholder and live in Florida. My Sampler platter was HORRIBLE. Consisted of 2 THINLY sliced Brisket which was inedible. Dry Tough and full of fat. The ribs and sausage were fair at best The chicken was dry and everything was barely warm. The best thing on the plate were the fresh string beans. My wife's salad was GOOD but its hard to screw up a salad.
French onion soup was fair.
The only reason I didn't give this a lower rating was because or server Kerri and the Manager Mandy were wonderful. They offered to bring me another platter but one was MORE THAN ENOUGH. Bottom line DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY
