I dined here all three mornings of my stay. Each day I dined between 9:30-10:30am, and it was never very crowded; seating was easy to find.

I tried the Pop Waffle and French Toast, each served with fresh fruit topping, bacon, and chicken sausage. Both entrees were very good. Chicken sausage was surprisingly good, if a little spicy. I also enjoyed a cherry cheese danish on the last morning, which was great and just enough to hold me over before lunch at Be Our Guest.

I dined here for dinner on 5/8. The menu has changed significantly from what is listed on this website. Nothing looked great, and after much debate, I decided on the Sesame Honey Chicken with broccoli and rice. Tye dyed cheesecake was my dessert.

There was no problem finding a seat as most people were in the parks during this time. It was right around 6, so I got the treat of watching some of the cast members do the Hustle!

The portions were large, but the food just average. I ate all the chicken and most of the rice but found the broccoli to be very bland. The tye dyed cheesecake was fun and delicious as always.

I decided I really wanted to dine here before I left the "World" so I got in line around 11:15am on 5/10. Waited about half an hour before I was actually admitted, but enjoyed chatting with other families around me in line-one of them actually invited me to have lunch with them! (I declined, but appreciated the offer.)

Once inside, it took about six minutes to get to the podium where they register your rose. The day I was there we did not order via computer screen, but instead it operated as a regular counter service queue with cashiers at each podium. This process was quick and I was at my table within 5 minutes.

I glanced in the West Wing but wow, it was really dark in there so I decided against it. The ballroom was beautiful but too echo-ey for my liking, so I ended up in the portrait gallery. I did notice there weren't any tables for two in there; the smallest I saw was a four top. I did appreciate the fact that you are able to get your own drinks, and that refills are included-a counter service rarity!

My food arrived within 10 minutes of me sitting down. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake. The sandwich was very good, although I did end up picking the ham off half and just eating the bread and cheese! Fries were not that great; limp and salty. The cupcake was delicious! Would recommend stopping in just for that!

I stopped in the restroom before exiting, which was a nice restroom but did seem small for the restaurant. And there were some managers in the exit area who were kind enough to take my picture with the Belle & Prince tile work. Time from getting in line to exiting the restaurant was 1 hour 15 minutes. I'm glad I got to experience it but I won't be rushing back.

Pros:

Decent food, beautiful theming, free refills!

Cons:

Long waits to get in, no tables for one or two

We stayed at por from 4/1/13 to 4/19/13 and had a wonderful time. This was our second time at this resort and it has become our favorite. We requested a 2nd floor room, outside corner in bldg. 18 and that is exactly what we were given. Everything about this resort was great. It is a very large resort and getting one of the preferred bldg's was very helpful. We will be headed back next year!!

Pros:

beautiful landscape, clean, quiet, very friendly staff

My biggest dislike was that we had to wait 30 minutes just to get in the castle, and then another 15 to order once we got inside. Ordering is done on computer screens, which was a little confusing. One thing I did like about the computer screens was that you could enter in your allergies and it would automatically filter out dishes that weren't safe. It was so much more convenient than having to wait for a manager like at other quick service restaurants.

That being said, the wait was completely worth it. The castle is beautiful, and the food was amazing. I had the tuna nicoise salad, french onion soup and a lemon-raspberry cream puff for dessert. My DH had the braised pork, french onion soup and a cupcake. He said it was the best meal he had all week.

So bottom line, yes you will wait, but it will be worth it!

Pros:

Beautiful theming and food

Cons:

ordering and wait times

Review of Bay Lake Tower (Disney Vacation Club)

Stayed here from May 3rd thru the 11th. This is the second time that I stayed here. Last time we stayed in a studio but this time we stayed in a two bedroom.

The only reason I did not give this review a 10 was because of the negative customer service that I received checking in. First, she was extremely slow checking us in. Second, when asking her to add the park passes on my room key, she said that she could not do that and I needed to go to concierge later. When I questioned this because I have always been able to do this at check in, she almost made me feel like she was accusing me of lying. She said that this was never done. Third, we checked in at 3:00 and when I asked her if our room was ready she was very snippy with me and said that check in was at 4:00 and I would receive a text even though the woman next to me received her room at the time. After this bad experience, we left and got something to eat.

We later walked over to Bay Lake where we spoke to a very helpful person who, surprise surprise, was able to add my park passes to my key even though she wasn't concierge. The last thing that upset me was that this was around 4:00 and our room was still not ready and according to this woman, our room still has not even been touched yet. I have never waited this long to check in to a room. Thankfully she was able to switch us into a room that was just finished.

Other than that, we had a wonderful 2 bedroom villa. It was clean and spacious and the third bathroom came in very handy. The view was a lake view where you could see Epcot and Hollywood studios in the distance. The pool was great and the slide was a lot of fun. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros:

Great location, great view, lots of room, clean

Cons:

Customer service

Review of Boatwright's Dining Hall Dinner

My dad and I decided to eat here for our first night and we weren't disappointed. For an appetizer, we had crawfish bites topped with Remoulade sauce. This appetizer was much, much better than expected. We couldn't get enough of it!

For the main course, I had the slow roasted prime rib while my dad had the grilled pork chop. The prime rib was superb, much better than I expected. I ate everything, which is very unusual for me since I chew slowly, allowing me to get full faster. The asparagus spears were delicious, along with the Yukon potatoes. I'm literally drooling as I write this, that's how good the meal was.

The only bad thing was the lack of waitresses/waiters. While our waitress was very nice, I felt she was over-burdened and could have used some help.

For the price, you can't beat it. It's a great meal in a great atmosphere with friendly people. Boatwright's definitely keeps it's place as one of my favourite restaurants.

Pros:

Better than expected

Cons:

Not enough staff

Love the theme of the restaurant. It was lovely. We actually got the table right in front of the rose. the kids loved that room.

The food was very good for a quick service meal. It was nice to have your food find you. The cupcakes were very good.

The line was long but it moved pretty fast. I would eat here again.

We love this resort. Just stayed here 5/9 to 5/13. The pool is great. Our room was roomy with plenty of space for a family of 5. My 13 year old son who is a big bot slept on the murphy bed and loved it. It had plenty of room for him.

I requested building #14 and got that building, which was great it was close to everything.

The only complaint I found with this resort is I found the staff in the quick service food court rather rude. I have never come across this before at Disney. Not everyone was rude but the majority of the staff was.

I love this resort and will stay here again.
