We had dinner at the Sanaa restaurant at 5:45 and walked around the Kidani lodge until our 8:15PM check-in at the Sanaa reservation desk. Our guide Kristi greeted us and we all headed to the open air truck to get our night vision devices and start the tour. Laura was the driver and she and Kristi worked very well together getting us so close to the giraffes the we could touch them, but of course we didn't because that's not advised. Watching the zebras, okapi and ostriches feed and just experiencing night in the savanna with animals roaming about was indescribable. These animals are active at night in the cool air and this whole experience was well worth the cost and time.

It's always nice when you do not have to struggle with your luggage. You get your luggage tags about a month in advance, and once you drop your bags at your home airport you fo not see them till they arrive in your room.
Pros:

great ice cream
Pros:

Wrist bands are awesome

Splurge on the one with sit down option
Pros:
Fast and easy to use. Lots of locations to use. The snack credits can be used on a variety of items.Cons:
I wrongly thought the sit down meals were all character dining. There are many great restaurants that are considered sit down like momma melrose, sci if diner, etc that I did not realize were considered sit down. Staying at that resort was a very special part of my trip to WDW. I love all the details on the walls, the furniture, the carpet, the sinks, the shower, the beds... that is SO Disney!! The same attention they have for those little touches in the parks were there also in my room.
Pros:
Lots of space to walk around the room and a big bathroom. Lovely green area outside the rooms, more than one pool option, boat and bus accessible. Close to the parks and Disney Springs.Cons:
Some of the buildings are a bit far from the lobby and the food court. It's not bad, but make sure you ask for a closer building if you want to get to those places faster or don't want to walk back to your room after a long day at the parks.Review of Casey's Corner

Love Christmas time in Disney and MVMCP
