My wife and I had a date night on our most recent trip and we used the childcare services at Wilderness Lodge even though we were staying at PO Riverside. The kids had a great time and the staff was very friendly and hands on.

On a side note, if depending on Disney transportation to get from home resort to Wilderness lodge, give yourself ample time. We spent over 3 hours going from PO Riverside - theme park - Wilderness Lodge - boat to MK - boat to Grand Floridian for our reservations at Senses and Cirticos. We used a taxi to pickup our kids and return home!

Pros:

plenty of activites

Cons:

not all resorts offer this service

Our First day at Disney was a monsoon, and we had no plans for going to a park, so in an effort to salvage the day for my three year old I called the kids club. They were very welcoming, the space is bright and had lots of activities, also it gave her a place to play with and meet new friends. At $11.50 per hour, minimum two hours and dinner included this is a bargain, we pay our babysitter here in CT more! The only negative was every day thereafter when we passed the club my daughter wanted to go in!

Pros:

Value for the Money
