January 2015 - N/AHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureMuppet*Vision 3D closed indefinitely. The theater has been renamed the Sunset Showcase. From July 1- August 14 the theater will host a preview of Pete's Dragon.
Jan. 10 - PERMANENT CLOSUREHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureAladdin "Disney's Aladdin -- A Musical Spectacular" closed on January 10, 2016, after nearly 14,000 shows since its debut in January 2003. The story of "Frozen" will take Aladdin's place in an all-new theatrical production opening May 27,2016 at the Hyperion Theater.

Apr. 18 - PERMANENT CLOSUREHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureFor the First Time in Forever - A Frozen Sing Along Celebration Closes April 17. The new "Frozen - Live at the Hyperion" musical starts May 27.
May. 06 - Jun. 12Hollywood Land : Disney California AdventureSneak Peak of Alice Through the Looking Glass Starting on May 6, the preview of "Alice Through the Looking Glass" will be presented in 3D with special in-theater effects at the Sunset Showcase Theater (formerly Muppets Theater).

Apr. 20 - May. 31Hollywood Land : Disney California AdventurePirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell No Tales Sneak Peak The preview of the new Pirates movie is being held in the Sunset Showcase Theater. There is a display of props and costumes in the lobby.
Shows begin on May 26, 2017 - with multiple shows each dayHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureNew 'Disney Junior Dance Party' Coming to the Disney Junior Theater "Disney Junior Dance Party," is a live show experience featuring characters and music from the new series "Mickey and the Roadster Racers," as well as "Doc McStuffins," "Sofia the First" and "The Lion Guard." The show premieres on May 26. The current version of the show closes on April 9.
