3 Disney World Attractions That Will Look Wildly Different in 2025

Disney World is always changing!

Construction Work at Magic Kingdom

Just a quick glance around the hotels and parks will give you all that you need to know, meaning there are a ton of projects in the works. We see projects like new restaurants, hotels, and attractions in various states of construction around the property. Speaking of attractions, and since you’re finalizing your Disney World vacation plans, we’ve gotta talk about the attractions that will look wildly different when you arrive in 2025!

Test Track

First up, let’s head on over to EPCOT and talk about Test Track.

Test Track

In case you hadn’t heard, at the 2023 Destination D23 fan convention, Disney shared that Test Track in EPCOT is going to be COMPLETELY reimagined. Here’s a look at the concept art photo of the reimagined ride.

At the moment, we don’t know how long the ride will be closed, but it will be going through a significant makeover, so expect it to be closed for a few months at least. Also, we know that the ride will be closing on June 17th for the work to begin!

Based on previous concept art, it looks like this new version will drive through some kind of forest, and the ride vehicles look to be referencing those seen in World of Motion when the ride opened back in 1982.

Since the current ride’s last upgrade was in 2012, this is definitely going to be a welcome update. Again, we don’t have word of the timeline, but there’s a possibility that the new reimagined version of the ride will be open at some point in 2025.

Why We’re Worried About the Major Test Track Ride CHANGES in Disney World

Next up, we’ve got to head back to Magic Kingdom. Also, both of these next projects will be completed in 2024, but as many of you are already planning your 2025 trips, the attractions will be completely different experiences for you, especially if you don’t get a chance to stop by in 2024.

Country Bear Jamboree

Next up, let’s talk about the Country Bear Jamboree. It’s set to reopen this summer…but it will be a completely different show!

While fan-favorite characters are sticking around, the bears are getting a new setlist and outfits.

We can’t wait to hear them singing some of our favorite Disney songs in different styles of country music!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Last on this list, we have Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The water ride will officially open to the public on June 28th, 2024, and we can’t wait.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is “Almost… HERE”

We’ve been keeping a constant eye on the construction and we’ve been delighted by all the details we’ve been noticing.

What are those in the exit queue?

For instance, we love all the fun theming details we can see throughout the queue — it really brings the whole theme together.

So many details!

We can’t wait to see what kind of adventures we will encounter on the ride. For a stark comparison, here’s what this ride looked like BEFORE the refurbishment.
