Contemporary Resort Updates 8/22/2007
Posted onI visited the Contemporary Resort on 8/22/07. Construction abounds. First, the lobby is undergoing a complete makeover. Spaceship Earth Wand Removal
Posted onDemolition continues on the Mickey Mouse arm and Epcot sign over Spaceship Earth. Currently, the east entrance walkway next to Spaceship Earth is completely closed off to guests. Studios Updates 7/23/07
Posted onA portion of Mickey Ave at the Disney/MGM Studios has been closed off while construction continues on the new “Toy Story Mania” attraction. You can still reach “One Man’s Dream” and “Journey Into Narnia” at one end of the street and the “Backlot Tour” at the other end. Guide maps reflect the street closure.
