Boulangerie Patisserie Les Halles Opens in France Pavilion

Posted on
Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles has opened in Epcot's France pavilion, in the space adjacent to the movie theater exit. The new bakery, which replaces the former Boulangerie Patisserie in the pavilion, is much more spacious and offers a new, expanded menu. Offerings include pastries and other sweets, soups, sandwiches, salads and authentic French dishes such as quiche, Croque Monsieur (grilled ham and cheese) and pissaladiere, a pizza-like dish from the South of France. The bakery opens at 9 a.m. every morning, before the official 11 a.m. World Showcase opening time. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted for many items at this location. The former patisserie is being remodeled and will soon reopen as an ice cream shop called Glacier.

It comes as no surprise that reservations for Ohana are some of the hardest to come by amongst all Disney dining locations. For these reasons, the bar is always set very high when dining at Ohana and yet the restaurant continues to live up to these expectations time and time again. Ohana is definitely a restaurant not to be missed and it offers a dining experience unlike any other.

The fully remodeled spa, now owned and operated by Disney, is set to open December 17. Imagineers blended Grand Floridian turn-of-the-century elegance with modern touches - plus a dash of Disney whimsy. The centerpiece of the spa's lobby is an original mural reflecting old Florida landscape and nature. Glass mosaic tiles in the Jacuzzi rooms further enhance the elegance and sophistication of the spa. All the senses are engaged in an ultimate relaxation experience - flavorful and soothing elixirs, color variations in lighting and orchestral music harmonize with the treatment selected.
