REVIEW: Come With Us To Try the NEW Gelato Stand in Disneyland (You’re Gonna LOVE It)

When we’re at Disneyland on a hot day, there’s only one thing on our minds – cooling down with a frozen sweet treat. And what’s a better way to do that than with gelato?

Happy Ice is a brand-new gelato stand that just opened in Downtown Disney, and we tried everything on the menu so you know what’s worth your money!

First, we got the Time Machine in a Large size for $12.00. This is a combination of cherry, mango, and DOLE pineapple gelato.

The pineapple was the strongest flavor, and it tasted like a DOLE Whip with some cherry and mango mixed in. The texture is smooth and gelato-like with a slight crunch like shave ice. The large is a massive portion size and easily shareable, but we think it’s almost too good to share!

Next up was the Rainbow Gelati in a large size for $15. This is their Rainbow Rocket Gelato, a combination of watermelon, strawberry, key lime, DOLE pineapple, mango, lemonade, cherry, and blue raspberry-flavored gelato. It’s topped with their Sweet Bean Ice Cream, available in dairy or non-dairy with oat milk.

The Rainbow Rocket gelato was packed with fruit flavors, and you could somehow taste all of them in every bite! It was super refreshing. We had high hopes for this one with the Sweet Bean Ice Cream on top, but the ice cream started melting almost immediately. If you want ice cream, don’t take it outside unless you want some vanilla soup!

We tried Happy Ice back in 2022 when they had a pop-up food truck at Downtown Disney, and it’s still the same gelato we know and love. We’re so glad they’re back!
