Disneyland Goth Day Might Be One Of Our Favorite Days Of the Year

There are a lot of unofficial Disney Parks holidays, and even though Dapper Day just hit EPCOT and Animal Kingdom in Disney World, Disneyland also decided to have in on the fun.

May 3rd was Bats Day in Disneyland, which is the unofficial Goth Day! Fans dress up in the coolest costumes and take incredible photos around the park. We stopped by to visit some of the guests and check out the fun costumes!

How do you stay on top of these unofficial holidays? We’re usually scrolling through social media when we see hints of Dapper Day, which is almost the opposite, since people dress up in pastels to celebrate the 1950s, which is when Disneyland was built, or other holidays and celebrations. These aren’t official because it’s the Disney FANS that create these events and meet up in the parks to have fun, so make sure you keep an eye out on social media for more dates.
