Why Disney Fans Will Be Glued to Their Screens This Friday

Sometimes when you travel, things don’t go as planned.

That happened to us just this past week. When we were trying to get to Paris from Singapore after the Disney Adventure maiden voyage, things went sideways when our flight got canceled, and yes, that meant we would miss the very exciting thing we had planned for this past weekend. Not to worry, though, we were able to get it rescheduled, so now you’ll want to prepare yourselves for this upcoming Friday — we’ll be in Disneyland Paris showing you all there is to check out at the new Disney Adventure World!

That’s right! Disney Adventure World officially opens to guests on March 29th, but we originally were going to get a special media preview this past weekend. When our flight got canceled, we were devastated and panicked at first — we wouldn’t get to Paris until Sunday, the day AFTER the event. What were we going to do?

We chatted with Disneyland Paris, since this was a media event, and fortunately, we were told we can do another media event this coming Friday, March 20th! We hopped on our flight on Sunday, made it into Paris, and Emma and Quincy are now safely in their Disneyland Paris hotel room, planning to make the most of their additional week in Paris before we get to see the new Disney Adventure World.

World of Frozen is what you’ve likely heard the most about when it comes to Disney Adventure World, but there’s even more to explore! Don’t get us wrong, we can’t wait to see Olaf walking around the park, take in the gorgeous decor of Arendelle, and eat delicious food, but we’re really looking forward to exploring ALL that Disney Adventure World has to offer.

We’re also really excited to explore World Premiere Plaza, which is where Disney and Pixar stories will come to life through shows, attractions, and encounters. There’s also Adventure Way, which is a new promenade with lush gardens, live entertainment, and 14 (!!!) new dining spots! We’re STOKED.

There’s also a new Tangled ride to check out called Raiponce Tangled Spin, and it looks incredible!

We’re also really looking forward to dining at Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, which is a character dining meal totally themed to Disney Princesses. It’s also the very first lounge/bar in Disneyland Paris as a whole!
