If there’s any time to go to Universal Epic Universe OR Universal Studios Hollywood, it’s right now! Basically, just get to a Universal park.

Super Nintendo World

Universal just announced that there will be limited-time experiences coming to Super Nintendo World at both parks, as well as at Universal CityWalk. Let’s take a look at all the details.

The limited -time experiences will be coming on MAR10 Day, which is March 10th, and will continue daily through April 13th, 2026. These experiences are coming to celebrate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which releases in theatres on April 1st, 2026.

One of the experiences will be a special meet-and-greet with Yoshi in Super Nintendo World! This will take place at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Epic Universe.

There will also be specialty desserts “crafted to reflect the cosmic adventure” at select dining locations. Universal Studios Hollywood and Epic Universe will offer food inspired by the upcoming film, including:

  • Rosalina Cupcake — a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake, lemon buttercream and topped with a chocolate crown and star.
  • Galaxy Popcorn — a multicolored berry flavored popcorn with edible glitter, which will be available later in the experience.

Of course, what’s a limited-time experience without exclusive merchandise?! Fans will be able to take a piece of the galaxy home with them, as there will be limited-time merchandise inspired by the new movie available for purchase. This includes the exclusive first-of-its-kind interactive shoulder pals themed to the Luma in the film. You can get the Luma in both blue and yellow, and it will have light and sound features, as well as the ability to communicate with other Lumas when close together.

Guests will be able to check out a themed photo opportunity inspired by The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Fans can pose in a galactic tunnel-like experience.
