REVIEW: Put Down the Pumpkin Spice Lattes! This Cake Slice Is an Even BETTER Treat in Disney World

Y’all, I’m always down for a pumpkin-spiced latte. I don’t care that it’s basic and predictable; sometimes that’s what you need in a treat. Pumpkin spice has made the jump from latte to cake, and we are LIVING for it.

Let them eat cake!

We went to the Cake Bake Shop Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk, which you can visit by using the International Gateway entrance near the France Pavilion in EPCOT. Be ready to grab a fork because you’ll want to go there right now.

We started with the Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll Cake for $22.

Layers on layers

From the very first bite, we knew this was going to be a fan favorite. It’s like pumpkin bread meets the filling of a cinnamon roll (which is the best part of a cinnamon roll, obviously). The cinnamon is the main flavor, with the pumpkin coming in lighter in the back. The cake was super soft and fell apart so easily that we almost lost a few layers when taking pictures! Bring on the pumpkin spice because we’re going to be loving it all season long.

After that, we followed it up with even more pumpkin with the Pumpkin Cheesecake for $18.

Now this treat was like cheesecake partnering with pumpkin pie. Its pumpkin cheesecake filling was dense, creamy, and smooth while also staying nice and fluffy. The Graham cracker crust on the bottom held up pretty well and broke off easily when we scooped it onto our fork. It brought in the crunch along with a perfect amount of buttery goodness that we can’t get enough of.

It’s hard to ignore the steep price of desserts from the Cake Bake Shop, but we always love how big the pieces are, along with the quality of textures and flavors. They’re perfect to share with a group and for special occasions. I love to grab a slice to celebrate a birthday with a small group versus a whole cake.
