It’s Official: This Is the Most Ridiculous Thing I’ve Ever Seen in Disney World

Disney World is filled with an insane amount of magic, and some of that magic might look silly to some. While we love to spend our time wearing Mickey ears, getting pixie-dusted, and waiting probably way too long to meet our favorite characters, we found something that is truly the silliest thing we’ve ever seen at Disney.

You might have been to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex if you were participating in a runDisney event, but did you know they have events throughout the year? They’re hosting one of the most extraordinary events we’ve seen, and we’re OBSESSED.

Welcome to the ESPN8: The Ocho! This fun event is filled with events like Dodgeball, Pillow Fighting, and Slippery Stairs.

• • Major League Paintball — 10 AM
  • NWLA Wiffleball — 11 AM
  • Omegaball — 12 PM
  • TurfWars Adult Kickball — 1 PM
  • SportsCenter — 2 PM
  • Bullshooter — 3 PM
  • The Ocho Show — 4 PM
  • The Popdarts Championship presented by APL — 5 PM
  • Slippery Stairs — 6 PM
  • Extreme Archery Championship presented by Archery Tag — 7 PM
  • Dodgeball — 8 PM
  • Pop-A-Shot 2025 National Champtionship — 9 PM
  • Pillow Fighting — 10 PM

All of these sound so fun! Omegaball is a “fast-paced, high-scoring version of soccer where three teams compete at the same time with three different goals.”

Just check out the Slipery Stairs in action! We can’t believe we get to watch it at Disney World.

SpotsCenter at 2 PM is ESPN’s highlight show hosted by Randy Scott and Gary Striewski. Bullshooter is a version of darts with soft-tipped darts on an electric dart board.

Pop-A-Shot National Championship sounds awesome! It’s the same basketball game as in arcades, but this one is head-to-head.
