Disney FINALLY Debuted a NEW MagicBand Feature

MagicBands certainly aren’t needed for your Disney Parks trip, but they do make things a LOT easier!

Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration MagicBand+

You can connect a credit or debit card and tap to purchase items, use it to access your hotel room, and it even interacts with various decorations and attractions in the parks. We love exploring all the ways you can get them to interact with shows, rides, and more, and we’re thrilled that a NEW offering is now available in Disneyland!

If you’ve ever experienced Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom, Autopia in Disneyland is a nearly identical attraction on the West Coast. This driving attraction will switch from gas-powered to electric/hybrid vehicles by Fall 2026, and as it turns out, there’s a NEW MagicBand+ interaction at this ride that you’ve got to check out!

Head on over to Autopia and check out the traffic light located near the ride. Tap your MagicBand+ against any of the three traffic light circles, and to the left, it will give you a ticket.

You don’t have to ride the attraction to get a ticket, but you do need a MagicBand+ to interact in this way. The best part? The tickets are all different, so you can try to collect them all before the Disneyland 70th Anniversary celebration is over, as that’s when this interaction will end as well.

There are also other locations around the parks where you can get souvenir specialty tickets. Some of the other ticket booths locations include:

- Outside Silver Spur in Frontierland
- Nearby Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland
- Near Skipper Lockers, close to the Jungle Cruise
