We have an insane obsession with McDonald’s!
They recently brought back a long-gone fan-favorite snack, they’re a road trip staple, and now, they’re bringing new toys to the restaurants that are making us feel nostalgic! Let’s check them out.
McDonald’s is a worldwide favorite! From their delicious cheeseburgers, those tasty nuggets, and the iconic golden arches, it’s easily one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Now, their newest toy collection is embracing those iconic pieces of the brand!
Starting on July 1st, you can grab “pocket-sized pieces of McDonald’s” from one of their U.S. restaurants! Each Happy Meal is going to come with one of 21 mini toys that are inspired by what you’ve seen from the fast food chain. You can find small cash registers, tiny fries, boo buckets, and more!
These new toys are part of the Lil McDonald’s Happy Meals, and we are truly obsessed! Even better, on July 29th and July 30th, the company is creating a Lil McDonald’s experience in Los Angeles where the new collection will “become life-size for big family fun.”
During the experience, you can explore toy-themed play zones, take pictures with special photo ops, and jump into a McNugget BALL PIT! It will be at Santa Monica Place from 11 AM to 6 PM. Entry is free and is first-come, first-served.
If you aren’t in LA, you can get in on the fun by scanning your Happy Meal Box to unlock a digital game called Drive Thru Dash. You can also use the PlayPlace Finder to find spots to have fun and visit HappyMeal.com to grab a free placemat to turn any table into a fun zone.
Even if you don’t get in on the other fun, you can still grab the new toys! These mini toys feature many familiar favorites, including menu signs, booths, drive-through kiosks, Happy Meals, and the iconic Golden Arches! It reminds us so much of playing “McDonald’s” at home with our friends growing up, pretending to serve up burgers and fries. Seriously, I had a play McDonald’s kiosk at my house.
