Happy Birthday, Disneyland!
The original Disney theme park turns 70 years old on July 17th, 2025, but the party begins on May 16th, 2025! We’re headed into the park to check out everything new and returning, kicking off with one of our favorite shows, Wondrous Journeys!
The nighttime show, Wondrous Journeys, has made its way back to Disneyland! This nighttime fireworks show honors the classics of Walt Disney Animation Studios that inspired Walt Disney’s original theme park.
The show originally debuted as part of the Disney100 festivities, which celebrated 100 years of the Disney company. The show will be displayed across Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., the Rivers of America, and the façade of “it’s a small world”! The show features state-of-the-art projections and fireworks on select nights.
You can see movies like Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, The Princess and the Frog, Peter Pan, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Moana, Encanto, and more, celebrated each night!
This show gets to us every time!
It’s truly a love letter to Disney Animation and the journey Disney movies have been on.
The show will take place at 9:30 PM, weather permitting. This is subject to change, so check the Disneyland calendar for the most up-to-date times. If you love Disneyland’s other nighttime shows like Fantasmic, they will also continue to play! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
