You Can Buy a $3K 'Star Wars' Droid That Will Deliver Your Snacks

In our many, many years of Disney journalism and reporting, we’ve seen many Disney souvenirs that make us tilt our heads sideways.

We’ve also seen MANY that the price tags make our mouths drop open, and sometimes, we secretly wish we could suddenly come into a large sum of money to splurge on an extravagant Disney souvenir. This new souvenir, for example, is a real bucket list item, because you can now buy your very own personal Star Wars Droid friend…for nearly $3000.

We’re kinda losing our minds over here, because Disney just released the new G1T4-M1N1 Droid on the Disney Store online, but this wild technological friend is FAR from cheap — it’s $2,875.

Wait a minute, though, what IS this droid? Well, unlike the droids you can build in Galaxy’s Edge or the ones we’ve seen over the years that need a remote control, the G1T4-M1N1 Droid has sensors and cameras installed inside of it so it recognizes YOU as its friend and leader and will FOLLOW YOU AROUND.

According to Disney, it’s helpful, friendly, and ready to assist you in your everyday life, which may include placing items inside its interior compartment, which can hold up to 20 lbs. Yes, this means you could take it with you on a quick trip to the store and ask it to hold your items, or take it out to eat and ask it to carry your leftovers. The possibilities here are endless.

We’ve definitely never seen anything like this before, and we’re really interested to hear thoughts from the general public. If you want to grab yours, we suggest doing it sooner rather than later, because they could be gone soon!
