Have mercy, these just might be some of the most memorable TV episodes of the 1990s!

Do you remember when Full House came to Disney World? Along with several other shows in ’90s, this super popular sitcom had an unforgettable episode that showcased the world-famous theme park resort. In fact, in 1993, Full House didn’t have just one Disney World episode, but two! The season 6 finale “The House Meets the Mouse: Part 1” and “The House Meets the Mouse: Part 2” took the Tanner household to Disney World and filmed at several REAL locations!
One of the best sitcom visits to Disney World EVER, these two episodes depicted some fun misadventures of the Tanner family.

In the episodes, Danny Tanner repeatedly attempts — and fails — to propose to his girlfriend around EPCOT.

His pursuit ultimately ends with a custom fireworks proposal at Magic Kingdom — the literal dream for any Disney Adult!

Aladdin had just come out the prior year and was a big theme throughout the episodes. In fact, Steve, DJ’s boyfriend, was played by Scott Weinger, who also voiced Aladdin in the animated movie — so you can bet the finale played into that. He pops up in DJ’s daydreams at Magic Kingdom, dressed at one point as our favorite street rat protagonist!

Michelle, DJ, and Stephanie come across a giant Aladdin-themed display on Main Street, U.S.A. and Michelle becomes a princess for the day — fully equipped with a crown, a ride in the parade, princesses at her beck and call, and basically carte blanche (which eventually leads to some problems like getting lost).

Disney’s Hollywood Studios also gets in other fun — sort of. At the time it was still Disney-MGM Studios, and that’s where Joey gets to explore the now-defunct Disney Feature Animation Studio. During this bit, he meets with animators and even gets a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Beauty and the Beast (1991).

We can’t forget about Uncle Jesse! Man, does he go through it in these episodes. The Disney trip was supposed to be a romantic anniversary getaway with Becky, but it gets out of hand fast, and he’s often too busy to spend time with her. Don’t worry, though, as he’s able to make it up to her by serenading her from the grand piano in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort &Spa. Uncle Jesse really did set the highest standards!

Since it was a TV show, it should come as no surprise that Full House “cheated” a little bit in these episodes. For starters, some scenes were filmed at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California, in a sound stage. This is a super-standard industry practice that helps control indoor environments.

However, the biggest cheat here is that Full House filmed a scene at Disneyland and passed it off as Disney World. The part where Michelle rubs the magic lamp and the genie appears — ultimately making her a princess — was actually filmed at Disneyland Park!
