A handful of new theme parks are opening around the world and in the United States, including Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, a Universal Kids Resort in Texas, and American Heartland (the park being built by former Disney Imagineers) in Oklahoma.

Well, those who love the game Minecraft will soon be able to enter the world of Minecraft for themselves, as a new venture was just announced.
The Guardian reported that Minecraft would be coming to the real world via a global deal. This deal, struck by United Kingdom-headquartered Merlin Entertainments, the second biggest theme park operator globally after Disney, will bring the world of Minecraft to both the United States and the United Kingdom.

The new venture will include themed rides, attractions, hotel rooms, and stores. Merlin Entertainments, which runs theme parks like LEGOLAND, Sea Life, and Madame Tussauds, will invest about £85m, which is $110 million when adjusted to USD, into the first two attractions.

Progress is expected to move quickly, as the attractions are set to open in either an existing theme park or other attraction areas in the United Kingdom and the United States in 2026 and 2027.

Merlin Entertainments and Mojang Studios (creator of Minecraft) coined this partnership, “Adventures Made Real,” and they plan to expand to other countries and territories.

We will continue to keep an eye out for any concept art and construction updates, so make sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
