Universal Is CLOSING a Popular Ride for Refurbishment TOMORROW

Alright, agents in training, listen up — we’ve got a serious problem on our hands, and it starts SOON!

One of our favorite ways to spend our day at Universal is taking on as many rides as we possibly can before the day closes out. However, every once ina while, these rides are in need of refurbishment. So this is your reminder that if you were planning to get one more spin on a popular attraction soon at Universal, you might just be out of luck.

Universal just seems to keep changing and updating and while that’s not a bad thing, it can be a bit inconvenient to visitors who are planning out a day at the parks. The end of the year typically marks a season where Universal likes to tackle multiple ride updates and refurbishments and we’re here to remind you that one of those dates is creeping up very soon!

If your “plan of attack” to your park day at Universal Studios originally included a spin to save the world from alien lifeforms then you may be in for quite a shock if you’re not aware. Men in Black Alien Attack in World Expo is scheduled to close tomorrow, November 8th, 2024 for refurbishment meaning you’ll need to get that last spin in today before it closes.

However, it doesn’t appear that Universal is anticipating this to be a lengthy closure as it’s only scheduled to last through December 15th. Men In Black Alien Attack is one of the first of a longer list of rides scheduled for refurbishment while Universal entertains its visitors with the upcoming holiday festivities like a returning parade, Christmas at Hogwarts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and the fan-favorite Grinchmas in Islands of Adventure.

So while you’ll be without a chance to blast those mischievous aliens for a while, it won’t be anything you’ll have to miss for too long. If you’re planning on visiting during the closure be sure to check out all of the limited-time offerings for the holidays at Universal which starts on November 22nd!
