Epic Universe is the new theme park coming to Universal Orlando. We’re excited for the 2025 opening, which will bring a total of five new themed lands. And they look spectacular!

If you’re planning a trip to Orlando, you might be wondering: Where is Epic Universe being built?
Encompassing a 750-acre site in Central Florida, Universal’s Epic Universe is just a few miles from the existing Universal Studios property in the southwest part of Orange County.

This location, which is referred to as South Campus, is next to the Orange County Convention Center and about 15 minutes away from the traditional Universal Studios (North Campus) complex.

Kirkman Road, near the original Universal resort area, is being expanded with 1.7 miles of new lanes from Carrier Drive to Universal Boulevard, allowing for a direct connection between the North and South Campuses.

One of the major features of the Kirkman Road extension will be a massive elevated traffic circle.

This extension will lead directly to a new, 10.5-mile-long road called Epic Boulevard, serving as the main guest entrance to the resort, and featuring entrances to the Epic Universe parking lot and other areas at the South Campus.

In addition to the roadwork, Universal has also pledged 13 acres of land near Epic Universe for a Brightline high-speed rail expansion. John Sprouls, Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative at Universal Parks & Resorts said at the time of the announcement,
“This train is an opportunity for people that live north, south, east or west to be able to commute to work, to commute to the airport, as well as carry both residents and visitors on the trains and connect them with the convention center and downtown Orlando.”

Mark your calendar for a 2025 visit to Orlando! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates and share all the latest news with you.
