There are TONS of experiences all around Disney World, but not many of them are free.

Once you’ve paid for a park ticket, you can get in and on all the attractions at no additional cost, but we wouldn’t call that free since you likely paid a pretty penny for that park ticket. Plus, food, drinks, and any extra experience all typically cost extra on top of your park ticket. But what if we told you that there is one experience that you CAN do for free?
Over in Disney Springs, you’ll find a shop where you can have a fun experience without paying a cent. Disney’s PhotoPass Studio is located in the Marketplace of Disney Springs and offers a fun opportunity to create some Disney magic with your friends or family!

If you head into the studio, a Disney PhotoPass photographer will set up backgrounds, props, and Magic Shots for you to put on your best pose. Getting the pictures taken is completely free and all the photos get linked directly to your Disney World app.

If you choose to purchase the photos, that will, of course, be an additional cost, but you can totally go in for a while and have all the fun you want just getting your pictures taken with no requirement of making a purchase. If you purchased Memory Maker, then these pictures will also be included with that package!

You can choose to not purchase your images, purchase them at home at a later date before they expire, or purchase them right at the studio along with any other photos you’ve gotten throughout your trip.
You can also have Disney PhotoPass photographers take your pictures at designated PhotoPass locations in the parks for free and decide to purchase or not purchase those pictures later on.

Even if you decide not to purchase the photos (which can turn out super cute!), you’re sure to have a great experience with your friends and family just taking them. We love finding hidden, free gems around Disney World, and we hope you have fun taking advantage of these experiences!
