NEWS: OPENING DATE Revealed for Universal’s NEW First-of-Its-Kind Hotel!

Every day we’re closer and closer to the opening of Universal’s Epic Universe.

And now we know that the park will officially open on May 22nd, 2025! On top of that, Universal Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts will be opening on January 21st and February 25th, respectively. But what about the other major hotel coming with the Epic Universe property?

Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel is the first of its kind for Universal — it’s located INSIDE Epic Universe Park, giving those staying at the hotel direct access inside! No other Universal hotel has this feature, which means that we’ll likely be paying more for this perk, but that’s okay with us (to an extent)! This entrance will also ONLY be for guests staying at the hotel, which is huge, especially for rope drop.

It’s located inside the Celestial Park area of Epic Universe, and Universal has described the hotel as having “beautiful details of celestial patterns and constellations (that) adorn the hotel with an elegant Mediterranean-inspired feel.” We’ve certainly been able to see that design from the outside of the hotel so far, but we can’t wait to see the inside.

We also know the hotel is set to have 500 “luxurious” rooms for guests to stay in, and we’re expecting to see a lot of Greek influence inside the rooms and the hotel itself since the name is Greek! Helios is the Greek god of the sun (yes, the one who is depicted driving the chariot across the sky to get the sun to rise each day)!

And now it’s been announced that this beautiful new hotel is set to open on May 22nd, 2025. Reservations will open on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024. 

Universal Epic Universe opens May 22, 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort. Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22. Bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will also be made available.

Like the other hotels, this hotel will offer complimentary transportation to the theme parks, as well as Early Park Admission. However, we do know that Express Pass Unlimited will NOT be included with your stay here.
