Universal Orlando is opening its new theme park Epic Universe in 2025. And they recently dropped a ton of new photos from one of the park’s most highly-anticipated lands!
Epic Universe will feature five lands, one of which is Super Nintendo World. And if you’re excited to enter the world of some of the most iconic, classic video games, we’ve got good news — Universal recently dropped a ton of new photos that show what we can expect when it opens!
First up, here’s a look at the portal through which guests will enter Super Nintendo World.
Universal also shared an overview of the land’s design. The concept art shows the entrances to a few of the attractions in Super Nintendo World.
Speaking of attractions, we also got a new look at the Super Nintendo World rides. Here’s a peek at Yoshi’s Adventure — a family-friendly ride that will take guests through the Mushroom Kingdom in search of glowing eggs.
Universal also shared concept art of the ride vehicles for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. The attraction “fuses augmented reality, projection mapping technology, and elaborate environments to bring the fun of the Mario Kart video game series to life in a compelling ride-through experience.”
On the outskirts of Super Nintendo World is the entrance to Donkey Kong Country — a lush, tropical landscape that features trees, waterfalls, The Golden Temple, and more.
This area will also have a new attraction called Mine-Cart Madness. Universal called the ride a “first-of-its-kind family coaster” with “innovative technology and a unique coaster design.”
In addition to the attractions, guests can also purchase Power-Up Bands, a wearable accessory that allows them to play interactive activities, collect digital coins, and find more fun surprises throughout Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.
Plus, you’ll also be able to meet some of your favorite characters.
Last but not least, we also got a peek at one of the spots you can visit to power up for your activities, Toadstool Cafe.
