OK, Disney fans. We hope you have fast fingers, a caffeinated brain, and a lot of luck. This year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is happening SOON (August 9th–11th) in Anaheim, California, and tickets go on sale starting March 26th.

So, what’s the big deal? Well, this is one of the HARDEST Disney events to get tickets for, and capacity is limited. Feeling a little stressed about the prospect of buying tickets? We’re here to help! Come with us to see the step-by-step process for getting tickets to this HUGE fan event!
First of all, let’s talk about what you can expect from this event.

D23 is essentially a fan club for Disney fans. As part of the membership (note there are both free and paid versions), Disney fans can check out exclusive merchandise, hear big updates and announcements, and participate in various events throughout the year.

But the BIG event this year is D23: The Ultimate Fan Event. At this exclusive expo, Disney creatives and executives (and maybe even a celebrity or two) will share news, project updates, and major announcements about the future of The Walt Disney Company. In the past, this is where we’ve learned about things like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the Country Bear Jamboree makeover, and the Disney Treasure cruise ship.

If you’re still with us, you’re probably pretty interested in attending this year’s BIG event. Keep in mind that tickets will likely sell out in minutes on March 28th (if they aren’t sold out before that). Here’s the breakdown of when you can buy tickets:
- March 26th at 12PM PT: D23 Gold Members have first access to tickets for a limited time
- March 27th at 12PM PT: D23 Gold Members and General Members who are using their Disney Visa Card to purchase tickets have access to pre-sale tickets
- March 28th at 12PM PT: D23 Gold Members and General Members can purchase tickets while supplies last
You must be a D23 Member to purchase tickets. The General Membership is free, but the Gold Membership has a fee. If it is super important to you to get tickets, you may want to become a Gold Member.

If the system is like last year, head to the D23 website early. From there, you’ll be placed in a virtual queue. Note that even if you join that virtual queue, we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to get the tickets you want. In the past, we’ve had multiple AllEars team members vie for tickets, and only one was lucky enough to complete the purchase.

Once you’re in line to get a ticket, be patient, and don’t exit the browser! Pay close attention to your spot in line — otherwise, you may miss your turn.
We hope this little guide helps you get some tickets. If you’re brave enough to take on the challenge, good luck! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
