Ya’ll, we finally have the Disney Dining Plan back!!

We need to find an “I’m Celebrating” pin and write “the return of the Disney Dining Plan” because this is a big deal! We love snacking all over Disney World and this makes it even easier. Of course, we were in the parks first thing this morning and checking out all the new updates. While we were exploring how the dining plan worked with Mobile Order, we noticed a neat, new, little button.
Figuring out the ins and outs of all the Disney World systems can be tricky. If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
There are two dining plan options you can select from to use during your Disney World trip — the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Standard Disney Dining Plan. They differ by the types and number of credits you receive per day.
- Quick Service Dining Plan — Each person over 3 years old gets:
- 2 Quick-Service Meals
- Quick-Service Meals include one Quick-Service Meal, including Entrée OR Combo meal with a Non-alcoholic Beverage
- 1 Snacks or Non-Alcoholic Drinks
- 1 Resort-Refillable Mug
- Standard Disney Dining Plan — Each person over age 3 gets:
- One Table Service Meal
- For breakfast, this includes an entree and non-alcoholic beverage OR one full buffet.
- For lunch/dinner this includes a full buffet or entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage. Children 3-9 can also have an appetizer at lunch/dinner
- One Quick-Service Meal
- Quick-Service Meals include one Quick-Service Meal, including Entrée OR Combo meal with a Non-alcoholic Beverage
- One Snack or Non-alcoholic Drink
- One Resort-Refillable Drink Mug (per person)
- One Table Service Meal

If you choose to use Mobile Order to redeem your credits, you simply select your food items and add them to your cart. As long as your dining plan is associated with your Disney World app account it will be applied automatically.

As we were ordering our meal this morning, we noticed a button at the top of the My Order screen. Disney has added a “Don’t Miss Out” option so you can add qualifying items to your order and take full advantage of your dining plan! It reminded us that we had a standard beverage that we could add to our meal as part of our dining plan. We just had to select “Add Item” and pick which qualifying beverage we wanted to add.

This is great so we can take full advantage of the dining plan that we paid for (unless you qualify for a free dining plan!). You may not want to add the beverage or any other suggestions, but it’s nice that Disney is there to remind you what you can all get with your plan.

We’re big fans of the Disney Dining Plan, especially if we already plan to eat at more expensive restaurants. The two options can provide your family with what your dining preferences are.
We hope you’re enjoying the changes in the parks today! In the meantime, keep following AllEars for more Disney news!
