Medals Revealed for runDisney's 2024 Springtime Surprise Weekend!

If you are someone who visits Disney World a lot, you might be trying to find new ways to experience the parks!

Whether that’s through special tours, separately ticketed events, or seeing the newest thing in the parks, there are plenty of ways to change your experience. runDisney is a great example of this and if you’re signed up for the Springtime Surprise Weekend in Disney World, you’re going to want to keep reading!

The 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend takes place from April 18th to 21st and Disney just gave us a sneak peek at the medals!

First, we got a look at the Neverland 5K medal! This is a fun design with the race name and year in the middle and Tinker Bell is sitting on top.

Anyone running the 10K during the race weekend will receive this Up-themed medal! It says “Adventure Is Out There” and features Carl’s iconic house with balloons. Russell makes an appearance too!

The main event of the weekend is the 10-miler race! It’s themed to The Lion King, so naturally the medal has Simba and says “Hakuna Matata”.

That’s not all — there’s a special medal for anyone who is running ALL THREE races. Take a look at Stitch’s ‘Ohana Challenge medal! The total distance of running combined is 19.3 miles, and that’s impressive!
