There’s a new train service that will connect the Orlando International Airport to South Florida soon.

The Brightline high-speed train may have had a few delays this year, but it is still on its way to providing transportation to Florida travelers soon. Recently, the company announced a new partnership that will make travel with Brightline even more convenient when it debuts.
According to Brightline, the company is partnering up with Mears Transportation to offer customers “last-mile mobility services.” This service, Brightline+, will connect travelers between “the Brightline Orlando Station in partnership with Orlando Health and various popular destinations in the region.”

The new Brightline+ Shared Connect Shuttle and Luxury Private Ride powered by Mears will allow customers to book travel from the Orlando International Airport station through the mobile app or website. These reservations can be made during the original booking process or by modifying a trip closer to travel dates beginning on October 4th.

In Orlando, this service consists of the Shared Connect Shuttles Powered by Mears and the Luxury Private Rides Powered by Mears. The Shared Connect Shuttles Powered by Mears is “Orlando’s exclusive 24/7, Florida-themed shuttle service” that connects travelers to Walt Disney World Resorts. With this option, a shared shuttle provides travelers access to over 25 top resorts in the area with one-way adult fares starting at $16 and one-way child fares starting at $13. Kids aged 3 and under ride free!

The Luxury Private Rides Powered by Mears is available for guests looking for a more elevated experience. Connect to your Orlando destination in the company’s “luxury sedans, plush SUVs, and versatile vans.” Rates for this service start at $63 per vehicle.

In South Florida, Brightline+ will also offer Fixed Route Shuttles, Airport Shuttles, Neighborhood Electric Vehicles powered by Circuit, Special Event Shuttles, Scooter rentals, and BrightBike and CitiBike rentals.

Don’t forget, service between South Florida and Orlando on the Brightline train starts September 22nd, so start planning those trips now! In the meantime, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
