A Popular Universal Orlando Coaster Will CLOSE Temporarily This Month

There’s a lot to look forward to at Universal Orlando Resort right now!

Universal Studios’ Minion Land officially opens on August 11th, a new Halloween Horror Night event will take place on select nights this month, and Passholder Appreciation days are right around the corner. But if you are planning on heading to the parks soon, there’s an upcoming closure you should know about!

Universal is full of fun thrill rides across its parks, but occasionally these rides have to undergo scheduled maintenance — which means they might be closed during your trip. Fortunately, these closures are often announced ahead of time, so you can plan around them!

According to Universal Orlando, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has a scheduled closure coming up.

The ride will close temporarily from August 14th to August 18th, 2023, so if it’s an important ride for you — make sure you plan accordingly! Last year, we saw the ride close in August around this same time.
