RECIPE: You Can Make a Delicious Disney Springs Dessert at Home!

Since we can’t physically take the parks with us (sigh), we settle for decorating our house with merchandise, dressing in our favorite Disney apparel, and occasionally making some of our favorite Disney recipes at home. If you’re a big chocolate fan, don’t miss out on how to make this delicious treat from the comfort of your own kitchen!

Ghirardelli is a very popular dessert spot down in Disney Springs, known for their delectable chocolate. If you’re a particular fan of their Hot Fudge Sauce, then look no further!

Ingredients

• 1 bar (4 oz) Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Bar
• 4 tablespoons Butter, cut into chunks
• 1 1/2 cups Sugar
• 1/2 cup Water
• 1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup
• 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

This sauce is going to take some patience, so get ready!

Instructions

1. In a heavy saucepan, combine the chocolate (broken into 1/4-inch pieces), butter, sugar, water, and light corn syrup.
2. Stir the mixture continuously over medium heat until the chocolate and butter have melted and the sugar has dissolved.
3. When the sauce comes to a boil, lower the heat and continue boiling gently for 10 minutes.
4. Remove the thickened sauce from the heat, and stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Store covered in the refrigerator.
6. To reheat, place in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring after the first 3 minutes.
