NEW McDonald's Deal Announced — But Do YOU Qualify?

McDonald’s has announced a special deal — but it’s not for everyone!

We’ve seen quite a lot of McDonald’s updates released recently — from new Happy Meal toys to Funko Pop! figures themed to the fast food chain. But now McDonald’s has announced some FREE items they’ll be giving away — you’ll just have to see if you qualify.

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, McDonald’s is offering special deals in select areas. As USA Today points out, McDonald’s isn’t offering any national promotions for this week, but some spots have regional or local deals.

You’ll want to check your local McDonald’s to see if there are any deals available in your area. You can also check the McDonald’s app for deals (this is something you can and should do all the time because those deals could save you some cash!).

So far, WFXR (FOX) has reported that educators can get a FREE medium-sized soft drink, tea, iced or hot coffee from May 8th through the 12th at McDonald’s spots located in Southwest Virginia.

No purchase is necessary, but educators will have to show a valid school ID for this offer.

Over in the Middle Tennessee, Chattanooga, Bowling Green, and North Alabama areas, the same deal is going on. Per WBKO 13, educators in those areas can also get a FREE medium-sized soft drink, tea, iced coffee, or hot coffee from May 8th-12th.

Again, these deals are local/regional, so you’ll want to check with the stores in your area to see what’s available.

USA Today has a list of some other places offering teacher appreciation deals like Office Depot, Firehouse Subs, Sonic, and more. If you qualify, be sure to take advantage of those while they’re around.
